A FAMILY OF FAMILIES SERVING THE LORD TOGETHER!
"Christ Church of Neodesha is a safe, welcoming place that Spreads God's Love, shares God's Life, makes disciples and encourages unity."
what we believe
Christ Church of Neodesha believes in one God, who is three in one: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. God, our Heavenly Father; Jesus Christ, the Son of God, who sacrificed His life on the cross for our sins, went to Hades for three days, was resurrected and those who believe in Him shall have everlasting life; and the Holy Spirit, sent by God on Pentecost to comfort us, gives us Spiritual Gifts, and makes us more like Christ.
Christ Church of Neodesha believes that the Bible is the inspired word of God written by human authors under the guidance of God.
CREATION & HEIRS TO THE KINGDOM
Christ Church of Neodesha believes that God created us in His image; that sin caused us to be separated from God; that all who believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God, repent of their sins and continue to walk in His ways as the children of God. Once we become children of God, then we are heirs to His kingdom and blessings.
Christ Church of Neodesha believes that upon belief in the Trinity and confession of sins we become members instantly to the Church built upon the Rock, which is the body of all Jesus Christ believers on this earth; therefore no physical membership is required in Christ Church of Neodesha.
Christ Church of Neodesha believes in baptism because Jesus Christ was baptized by John the Baptist as an outward demonstration of His faith, we also believe in baptism as an outward demonstration of our belief, faith, hope and love for God.
Christ Church of Neodesha believes in tithing (which means ten percent) because it is a scriptural principle (Malachi 3:10). The New Testament (2 Corinthians 9:6-11) expands on Malachi 3:10 and goes beyond the restrictions of the Law.
Christ Church of Neodesha believes that the Lord’s Table has two elements/emblems which represent two aspects of Christianity. The wine represents the blood Jesus shed for the remission of our sins and the bread represents the body of Jesus that was broken for us. Christ Church invites all who have professed a faith in Jesus Christ to join us in Communion.
